Job Title: Territory Manager Retail Sales
Location: Lagos, NG
Job Summary
Responsible for developing and implementing the strategic regional plan to maximize acquisition, retention, sales and profit within the territory. You will also provide leadership and strategic direction to team members and be responsible for the delivery of our legendary customer service to our growing subscribers within the territory.
Principal Functions
- Monitor and analyse key trends in the retail channel and identify potential market opportunities to enable the achievement of extra - ordinary Business results.
- Review the unit's activities, make recommendations for improvement and implement approved initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the territory.
- Identify required resources, personnel and funding to achieve the unit's strategy.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage relationship within the industry to generate and expand business opportunities for EMTS.
- Drive Stores adherence to the QDVP3 tenets to deliver our legendary Customer Experience
- Assign sales targets to the Stores and identify and implement specific action plans to enable timely realization of sales plans.
- Oversee all daily retail sales and service activities in the territory.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of EMTS products and solutions and interpret retail customer needs to facilitate new value propositions tailored to meet the specific needs.
- Prepare/compile Stores inventory positions and monitor adherence to inventory thresholds.
- Document and discuss sector specific value propositions with the Head, Regional Retail Sales.
- Identify and manage High Value Individual accounts within the territory.
- Propose/initiate specific sales campaigns aligned with retail standards and guidelines.
- Lead the implementation of the retail channel programs and plans in line with agreed upon procedures and guidelines.
- Develop commission /bonus models and present suggestions to the Head of Region.
- Plan and manage the human and material resources of the territory to optimize performance and enhance productivity.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage team performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
- Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of Head, Regional Retail Sales.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Region.
Educational Requirements
- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Postgraduate/ professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Six (6) to eight (8) years work experience, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.

Job Purpose/Scope
- Implement Consumer Healthcare (CH) Nutritional Expert strategies through detailing calls on Paediatricians, Nutritionists, General Practitioners and Nurses as defined in the detailing plans.
- Work with Nutritional Detailing Manager and Medical Commercial Manager to build strong Expert recommendation for GSK Nutritional brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve detailing target, sales growth and market share objectives for designated CH products in the territory through optimal detailing and medical commercial activities and one to one calls with GPs, Paediatricians, Nutritionists and Nurses
- Dissemination of product information to Health care practitioners (HCPs) via clinical meetings/seminars, detailing, newsletters, conferences and other effective channels
- Conduct efficient planning for detailing activity in own territory including achieving stipulated call and clinical meetings/workshop targets with appropriate documentation
- Achieve agreed volume targets on promoted products into institutions and private clinics
- Increase recommendation rates of CH brands among HCPs by establishing the key benefits of the brands
- Ensure daily entry of call information and updated customer information into Med-e-Rep
- Conduct detailing activities in accordance with GSK Commercial Ethics Code and appropriate operating procedures
- Ensure timely reporting of calls, clinical meetings, product performances, market intelligence on customer and competitor activity in Med-e-Rep.
Qualifications, Experience
- A good first degree in a Science related course.
- 2 - 3 years work experience in a related field (preferably Nutritionists, Biochemists or Microbiologists).
- A related post graduate degree will be of advantage.

- Good knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics and patho-physiology of disease.

Position Title: Database Officer (MAPS Project)

Description:
- Under the supervision of State Coordinator and the M&E directorate, the Database Officer will be responsible for the day to day operations of data collection, data processing and sharing of aggregate data with all level of government health administration and NMCP.
- He/She will be responsible for the planning, maintenance and development of organizational databases and ensure data integrity at the state DPRS and the SMCP offices.
- Database officer will be in charge of storing, organizing, presenting, using and analyzing data using existing and any new database management software, including setting up new computer databases or integrating data from old systems to new systems.
- Knowledge of DHIS (1.4/2.0) and other routine and patient based health information System software.
- Regularly performs routine tests and modifications to ensure the database approach incorporates the following principles: (i) data remains consistent across the database; (ii) data is clearly defined; (iii) users access data concurrently, in a form that suits their needs; (iv) there is provision for data security and recovery control (all data is retrievable in an emergency).
- Ability to manage large data using MySQL/Postgre-SQL RDBMS and understand the concept of Software life cycle
- Other responsibilities include the design new databases and creation of dashboards products, charts, pivot reports, automated data output generation, reports and statistics.
- Regularly performs routine tests and modifications to ensure that a database is performing and running correctly. Troubleshoots the programs and hardware in case of problems; and propose necessary repairs or changes needed to fix the problem.
- The database officer will be expected to support data collation at the LGA level, the state DPRS, the state malaria control program office and the MAPS office.
Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree in Mathematics / Computer Science or related discipline, with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience or Masters degree with a minimum 1-3 years' experience in Malaria, TB, HIV/AIDS or Development related area and experience working with NGOs and CBOs required.
- A post-graduate degree in a related Medical Statistics and Epidemiology discipline is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Epi-Info, DHIS2, SPSS and any and RDBMS.
Typical Physical Demands:
Occasional travel to LGA may be necessary on an as-needed basis.
