    Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) was incorporated as a limited liability company on May 17, 1989, to harness Nigeria's vast natural gas resources and produce Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) for export. The company has a wholly-owned subsidiary, Bonny Gas Transport (BGT) Limited, which provides shipping services for NLNG and Nigeria LNG Ship Manning Limited which provides personnel for all of NLNG's Vessels.

    Position:

    The Resource Management Assistant will be a member of the World Bank's Resource Management team recruited locally.

    For the day-to-day assignments and responsibilities. She/he will report to the World Bank Country Director and/or the Resource Management Officer

    The Technical Affiliation for the Accounting Assistant is the Resource Management Family and he/she will be mapped to the Africa Region's Management Team (AFTRM). The Manager of AFTRM is responsible for technical and professional develoment and performance evaluation of the Accounting Assistant

    Responsibilities:

    The Accounting Assistant's main responsibilities will include:
    - Maintaining financial reporting and accounting systems for the country office
    - Monitoring independently operating expenses, budget and external funds(e.g trust funds) and identifying issues for discussion with office management
    - Processing procurement, recievables, telephone payments, travel request, consultant payments, e.t.c, participating in the production of  statutory and other financial reports
    - Maintaining internal control by monitoring expences, revenue, and administrative transactions to ensure that institutional and CFR guideines are met
    - Assisting with day-to-day human resource activities in the country office such as recruitment, salary and benefits administration, training activities, and professional development

    Qualificaions:

    Accademic Training & Experience:
    - A relevant Associate Degree (e.g Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economic)
    - Preference will be given to candidates with a relevant Bachelors or Masters Degree
    - Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant field(e.g Accounting or Finance or Adminstration)
    - Preference will be given to candidates with 3 or more years of experience

    Technical Proficiency:

    - Understanding and knowledge of business planning, work programming, budgeting and financial management
    - Proven strong comceptual, analytical and evaluative skills
    - Sound knowledge of information management and communication technology

    Communication and Team Skills:

    - High level of personal and professional integrity
    - Strong supervisory skills and ability to function well in a multi-cultural environment
    - Result oriented personality with proven problem-solving skills
    - Strong communication skills with ability to prepare present and discuss findings in written and oral form
    - Effective skills as an interlocutor in handling and facilitating client and inter-unit business relationships

    Expected End Results

    Supporting Activities

    Manage customers in assigned zone with view to reducing churn
    Monitor customer behavior through lifecycle reporting and analysis.
    Work with the product development team to design products and service suited to the immediate environment
    Manage distribution of KYC terminals in assigned zone.
    Liaise with RPs in the zone to host zain KYC terminals in their premises.

    Up selling of Airtel Brand during registrations with a focus on winning over new customers and increasing Airtel Networks share of wallet from customers with dual sims.
