Job Vacancies in Setraco Nigeria Ltd Location: Lagos, Nigeria Deadline: November 21, 2007 PLANT: - PLANT ADMINISTRATOR (P001): Holder of bachelor's degree in appropriate field / 5-7 years experience in similar position within the construction industry. - PLANT ENGINEER (P002): Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / 7-10 years experience in same specialization within the construction industry / Strong personality and ability to lead, control and coordinate workshop activities on managerial and technical levels / Possession of a 2nd degree is an added advantage. - MECHANICAL ENGINEERS (P003): B.Sc. or HND in mechanical engineering / Experience in heavy duty equipment maintenance or repair / At least 3-5 years post qualification work experience in the construction industry / Must have high level instrumentation and troubleshooting skills, integrity, and attitude to work. - ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS (P004): B.Sc. or HND in Electrical Engineering / At least 3-5 years post qualification work experience in the Construction industry. - HEAVY DUTY MECHANICS (P005): Minimum of 10 years experience in similar field / Preference for Diploma holders (BT, TS or equivalent). - INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIANS (P006): Minimum of 10 years experience in similar field / Preference for Diploma holders (BT, TS or equivalent). CIVIL ENGINEERING: - PROJECT ENGINEER (P007): Bachelor's degree in civil engineering / Minimum of 3 years experience in same specialization within the construction industry / Must be knowledgeable in the construction of roads, and bridges / Possession of a 2nd degree is an added advantage / Efficiency in the use of Auto CAD is required. - CIVIL ENGINEERS (P008): B.Sc. or HND in civil engineering / At least 3-5 years experience in construction industry / Must be knowledgeable in the construction of roads, and bridges, possess integrity, and positive attitude to work / Efficiency in the use of Auto CAD is required. - DESIGN ENGINEER (P009): Bachelor's degree in civil engineering / 2-5 years experience / Efficiency in the use of Auto CAD is required. - PLANNING ENGINEER (P010): Bachelor's degree in engineering / Minimum of 2 years planning knowledge and experience with computerized project management software packages / Experience in site installation activities related to the civil engineering industry is desirable / Must be well organized and with good written and verbal communication skills / Ability to foresee potential problems and avoid them by preplanning / Efficiency in the use of Auto CAD is required. - LABORATORY SUPERVISOR (P011): B.Tech in laboratory Technology / Minimum of 3 years experience / Must be computer literate / Additional professional qualification shall be an added advantage. - LAND SURVEYOR (P012): B.Sc. or HND in Land Surveying / 7 years experience in the construction industry. FOREMAN-EARTHWORM/ASPHALT (P013): 10 years experience in road and highway projects / Acquainted with CAT or similar equipment, including earthmoving equipment, motor grader, loaders, excavators, motor scrapers, compactors etc / Familiar with work material and laboratory procedures / Technical Diploma or an engineering education is an advantage. FOREMAN-CONCRETE WORK (P014): 10 years experience in large roads and highways projects with bridges culverts and other concrete structures / Technical Diploma or an engineering education is an advantage / Good command of both oral and written English language. SAFETY OFFICES (P015): At least a University degree or HND in mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Environmental Engineering / 3-5 years experience in site or workplace safety supervision, the construction industry in particular etc. ADMINISTRATION: EXECUTIVE SECRETARY (P016): A good 1st degree in Secretarial Studies or management science or related discipline / 10 years experience in similar position / Membership of Chartered Institute of Secretaries will be an advantage.
