    Qualification and Experience
    A. FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
    1. DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION (CONTISS 15)

    • Candidates must possess a good honours degree from a recognized University in any of the Social Sciences or Sciences plus MBA/MPA and Membership of the Institute of Health Services Administration of Nigeria.
    • Candidates for this position must have had fifteen (15) years cognate experience in a Teaching Hospital/Specialist Hospital setting and at least, four years experience at the post of not lower than that of an Assistant Director of Administration.
    • In addition, candidates must 5 have undertaken courses in leadership and Management, and 5, Community Services and provide statement of pioneering experiences and professional accomplishments.

    2. SENIOR ACCOUNTANT / ACCOUNTANT I
    • Candidates must possess a good honours degree in Accounting or related discipline and professionally recognized Accountancy qualification e.g. ACMA, ACA, ICAN. CPA, ACCA.
    • Possession of 6 higher degrees will be an advantage. Candidates should have at least six (6) years (Senior Accountant) and three (3) years (Accountant I) post-qualification experience.
    • Proficiency in the use of accounting software packages and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and ability to apply accounting regulations and procedures are essential requirements.

    3. ACCOUNTS OFFICER
    • Candidates should possess Bachelor's degree in Accounting not below Second Class from a recognized University and must have 7 advanced in his/her recognized professional examinations such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA.
    • In addition, candidates must have demonstrable ability to use Accounting Software and apply accounting regulations and procedures.

    4. SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
    • Candidates must possess a good honours degree in the Social years in a tertiary institution.
    • Sciences or the Sciences not below Second Class and a holder of the MBA or MPA from a recognized University and three (3) years cognate experience.
    • Candidates without higher degree must have at least 6 years cognate and relevant experience.


    5. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER II
    • Candidate must possess a good honours degree in the Social Science or the Sciences not below Second Class.
    • Medical Laboratory Scientist I must also have three (3) years post
    Qualification experience

    6. CONFIDENTIAL SECRETARY 1/11
    • For Confidential Secretary I, candidates must possess HND or a degree or its equivalent in Secretarial Studies from a recognized. Candidates
    • For Confidential Secretary II position should have ND in Secretarial Administration.
    • Candidates with ND and at least three (3) years post qualification experience may be considered for Confidential Secretary 1

    7. CLERICAL OFFICER
    • Candidates must possess at least five (5) credits in WASCE or NECO or their equivalent including English Language and Mathematics.

    8. OFFICE ASSISTANT
    • Candidates must possess WASCE or NECO or its equivalent.

    B. CLINICAL DEPARTMENTS
    1. CONSULTANTS

    • Candidates must be qualified medical practitioners; fully registered with the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council: have satisfactorily completed the NYSC programme and be in possession of the Fellowship of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African College of Surgeons or equivalent.
    • Candidates must also possess clinical training/experience in specific areas (sub disciplines), some skills/aptitude in clinical research and aptitude in community clinical service.
    • Candidates must apply separately for academic positions in the College of Health Sciences addressed to:
    The Registrar,
    Osun State University.

    The entry point will depend on standard criteria for such appointments in the University system.

    2 SENIOR HOUSE OFFICERS/REGISTRARS
    • Candidates must posses MBBS or equivalents with at least 2 years post internship experience.
    • Possession of primary in the field of specialization will be an advantage.

    3 PHARMACY
    a. PRINCIPAL PHARMACIST/SENIOR PHARMACIST

    • Candidates must possess good honours degree not lower than Second Class from a recognized University and be a registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. Candidates must also have at least nine (9) years (Principal Pharmacist) or six (6) years (Senior Pharmacist) post-qualification experience.

    b. PHARMACIST GRADE I
    • Candidates must possess good honours degree in Pharmacy not lower than Second Class from a recognized University.
    • Candidates must also be registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and have at least three years post qualification experience.

    4 NURSING
    a. CHIEF NURSING OFFICER

    • Candidate must possess a good honours degree in Nursing (B.Sc. or B.N.Sc.) and not less than 9 years post-qualification experience. In addition, candidates must have administrative experience and professional competence in related Institution.
    • Candidates with SRN plus SRM and a post-graduate qualification and exceptional managerial experience and demonstrable competence may be considered for this position.

    b. NURSING OFFICERS
    • A good honours degree in Nursing for Nursing officer cadre and SRN plus SRM. Point of entry will depend on years of experience.
    • Additional qualification and experience in tertiary institution will be an advantage.

    5 MEDICAL SOCIAL WORK
    SENIOR MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER / MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER I

    • Candidates for the senior position must possess honours degree in Psychology or Sociology and M.Sc. in Medical Social Work and at least three (3) years relevant experience. For MSW I, a good honours degree in relevant discipline is required.

    6 HEALTH RECORDS UNIT
    I. SENIOR HEALTH RECORD OFFICER

    • Candidates must possess a good honours degree in statistics or other relevant degree plus Masters in relevant discipline plus 6 years cognate experience.

    Ii. HEALTH RECORDS OFFICER I
    A good first degree plus 3 years experience is required.

    Iii. HEALTH RECORDS TECHNOLOGIST
    Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma in relevant field.

    7. LABORATORY
    I. SENIOR MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST

    Candidates must possess a good University degree in Medical Laboratory Science or its equivalent and current registration With Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria. Candidates must also have nine (9) years post qualification experience with at least four (4) years in tertiary institution.

    MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST 1/11
    Candidates must possess a good University degree in Medical Laboratory Science or its equivalent and current registration with Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria. Candidates for Medical Laboratory Scientist 1 must also have three (3) years post qualification experience.

    Iii. MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
    Candidates must possess National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or its equivalent. Candidates must also possess five (5) credits in WASCE or NECO its equivalent including Mathematics and English institution. Language.

    Iv. MEDICAL LABORATORY ATTENDANT
    Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits including two (2) science subjects and Mathematics.

    8 MEDICAL IMAGING UNIT
    I. IMAGING SCIENTIST (RADIOGRAPHER)

    • Candidates must possess a good degree in radiography from a recognized university. Additional qualifications will be an advantage. Candidates must in addition have (i) at least, two (2) years post qualification experience.
    (Ii). Duly registered with the Society of Radiographers of Nigeria
    (Iii) Must be licensed to practice by the radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria

    II. X-RAY TECHNICIAN
    Candidates must possess X-Ray Technical Assistant Certificate

    OTHER SERVICES
    a. SENIOR CATERING OFFICER

    • Candidates must possess certificate of City and Guild of London Institute in both catering Trade Basic Training (No 147) and in cooking for Hotel and Catering Establishments (No 150 and 151) OR certificate in Institutional and catering Management OR National Diploma in Hotel Keeping and Catering Management plus at least 8 years post-qualification experience; OR HND in dietetics or Catering Management with 3 years post-qualification experience in a similar institution.
    • Candidates must provide evidence of institution registration as a state registered dietician.

    b. ASSISTANT CATERING OFFICER
    • Certificate of City and Guild of London Institute in both catering Trade Basic Training (No 147) and in cooking for Hotel and Catering Establishments (No 150 and 151) OR certificate in Institutional and catering Management OR National Diploma in Hotel Keeping and Catering Management

    C. CATERING ASSISTANT
    • Candidates should possess and of the following:
    I. Senior Secondary School Certificate or West African School Certificate or GCE (Ordinary Level) obtained with four credits at one sitting or five credits at two sittings;
    Ii. Evidence of completion of a full course in a Government approved Secondary school or S. 75 or Junior Secondary School Certificate plus Certificate in Catering Studies obtained after completion of a year's course in a recognized institution.

    d. MORTUARY ATTENDANTS, HEALTH ATTENDANTS, SECURITY ATTENDANTS
    • Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in WASCE or NECO or its equivalent Experience in relevant discipline will be an advantage and could enhance entry point.
