Job Descriptions

• Under broad direction, coordinates the activities involved in maintaining and repairing down-hole tool electronics and surface equipment.
• Promote services excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced maintenance personnel.
• Assigns work to subordinate personnel.
• Schedules equipment to be serviced and maintained on a daily basis.
• Insure the successful execution of maintenance processes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Diagnoses, repairs and performs preventive maintenance on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole operations.

Areas of specialization within Product Service Line (PSL) specific shop operations may include:

• Electrical aptitude, computer skills, machine tool rebuilding, surface equipment, and performing major repairs.
• Serve as the lead in the assembly and disassembly of electronic inserts, probes, and down-hole tools.
• Assist in making evaluations and recommendations for improvements on equipment based on maintenance history. Trains and assist tool technicians.
• Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
• Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.

Requirements

• Skills are typically acquired through an Associates Degree similar education and 5 years of tool operations experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process
